LAN MARATHON! :D

AWESHUM! Going on a LAN marathon later! :D haha we get to camp overnight some more! haha you must be wondering why...the owner's one of my brudder's uncle! ^^ so we get reduced rates as well. Woohoo! gotta prepare some of my things, so excited! It starts tonight!

But one of the things that still annoys me are the people from church. -.- I'm pretty sure their almost fanatical devotion to this unknown God is all gonna come to nothing. I mean, if this all-powerful God really existed and is "actively working in our lives" as these people claim, then why's there still suffering in the world? What about all the MRT breakdowns, or the floods, famines, etc. The list goes on and on! I can't believe I actually believed all those ridiculous stories! Whales swallowing people whole and spitting them out? A talking snake?! Retarded.

Enough about them. -.- Gonna have so much fun later! xD although I have this nagging feeling that won't go away. Like something bad's gonna happen. Okay nvm. Worst-case scenario, I'll probably just lose all my games ._. So I better start training for it now! :) That'll help me to kick some butt tonight. :P

Training is getting from bad to worse. What's the team coming to? Some people just don't know how to play properly. DON'T KNOW HOW TO PLAY DON'T PLAY. Don't spoil the reputation of the team man. Just get lost!

That woman is irritating the heck out of me again. Always nagging whenever i'm at home playing my games. Like hello?? I'm having holidays. Aren't holidays meant for having fun? I've been studying so hard for the entire year, and just some gaming wouldn't kill me right? Come on! Someone has gotta shut her up!

And you know what i can't even leave house. Because if i do i'm gonna be bored to death. There's nothing for me to do outside. Can't go to the lan shop cuz i'm really broke man. Brudders!! lend me cash please?? when are we partehhing again?

And i think i need to get a separate line man. Somehow many people in church seem to have my number and they keep messaging me! Asking me to go over for some xmas event. Hello why don't we all go for the Zouk xmas event man! It's gonna be the party of the year! And besides how did all you people get my number?? Some privacy yo? I think the church people are getting weirder. Always asking me over on saturdays and all. Come on are you judging me?

Hey I have done so much for you guys last time alr ok? Sometimes you ask me to stay back and help decorate stuff, I stayed alright. It's so stupid but i still stayed cuz i felt bad that you guys lacked people. So please leave me alone now? I've done my time! You can carry on without me. I'll be fine where i am and you need not worry. Cuz God has already seen what i've done for the church and there's no way I can go wrong. Leave me alone now k? let me have my life! I'll meet you guys in heaven or something la.

You know what I have enough of you telling me the same things over and over again. What is all those rubbish about playing fair man. Just get lost and get out of the team! If you don't want to listen to your captain, simply get lost who needs you man. You're not irreplaceable. Can't even follow simple instruction. What is this?? Calling yourself part of the team? My foot man.
And you think playing fair is gonna get you the trophy right? Look la if you had simply listened, we might have won. And we would have been praised by coach. Now we are just downright despicable and it's all because of you! And worse still I have to take the blame for you! what is this? Just listen to instructions and nudge the guy a bit la. Is it so difficult???

Just don't understand why some people are so thick-headed. And you call yourself a christian.

Training!! Woohoo!!

Training was a bang! WE ARE THE BEST IN THE WORLD!!
I think we are really the best team in the world! Okay maybe the Lakers are still better but we are probably the best in Singapore man. And you know why? Because we have the most awesome captain!! (yeah HAHA)
Totally kicked butt when we played a friendly against some neighbourhood school man! Time to go home losers!! You stand no chance when I'm the captain!
Oh well the match against Greenwell was only a small match. More like a warm-up for the big match next week. Gear up for it boys! I think with our current teamwork we should not have a problem next week. Train hard and i know we can do our team proud by beating our nasty opponents next week boys!

My friends pangseh me!! Wanted to go crash the club but they all don't have guts man! chickens!! Nvm I'll go do cooler stuff with my team next week after training. It's been so long since we last trained. And i gotta say that my teammates are the best man. Miss them so much. Can't wait to get it started and go all out with bball!! Yeeaaahhhh!!
Super happy to have all these friends to spend my holiday with la. Especially on saturday afternoons! So tiring to go to church and listen to bible stories. I mean I've heard them for countless times. Can't i just be spared for just one week? Don't understand why they keep asking me to go again and again.. maybe i should ask them out instead! haha they don't know what they are missing man!

Booringgg!!!

The holidays are getting really boring!!! Just been playing those games until i'm totally sick and tired of it. And i'm getting broke from all the lan gaming! Maybe i should go find a job? Nah that's not really for me. Come on man! O levels are just over and it's time to party!!! Boy i can't wait to get all drunk again! looks we're are gonna try sneak into this club tomorrow night! Can't wait!

Post 'O' level stress relief

Gosh. I haven't been here in a loooong time! Also because I can't be bothered to log in to the LAN shop computer...later forget to log out then how? o.o haha 'O' levels just ended! (not that I cared much about it anyway) Don't exactly think I did spectacularly for it, but I'm sure I'll make it la! After all, studies can't be everything right? *bo chup*

Everyday I'm discovering some cool new game to play, and I just can't seem to get enough! Like I'll be happily playing this particular game, trying to finish up my campaign, and then suddenly one of my friends will come introduce me to some other game that tops the one I'm presently playing O.o Rinse and Repeat. :P

Besides the usual campaigns, I also went to a post-exam PARTEHHH!! Just yesterday, at one of my friend's classmates' house :D As usual, made loads of new friends there. The atmosphere was freaking AWESOME! :D I think I might I have drunk a little too much...got really really high and tipsy soon afterwards, but that's okay! I mean, I've got my brudders there to support me, so nothing to fear! (Nothing to fear except this horrid headache I have today -.-)

I am SO looking forward to the next few months of partying. NO MORE SCHOOL TO RUIN MY LIFE XD

A New Joy in Life - LAN

So there. The title says it all. :) I've found myself a new source of entertainment! :D Haha it's super awesome! Met lots of new friends at the LAN shop as well, and they're all super friendly too!

It all started with yesterday's trip out for dinner with my friends when one of them suggested going for a LAN outing. Didn't really know what it was like to go LAN-ing, so just tagged along. I soon discovered the joys of it. xD Now I don't have to play the lousy CPU whenever I play com games anymore! AI doesn't seem too intelligent to me :P now at least I'll have some challenge when I play :)

I know 'O' levels seem imminent (or rather that's what most of my mugger classmates are saying), but relax la! Not as if it's the end of the world. Enjoy life first! You can't study effectively if you're always so stressed out...you need something to relieve stress!

And for me, that's what LAN's for. Lots of it. ^^

Advancement in the tourney! :D

I'M ON THE TOP OF THE WORLDDDDD xD

Two pieces of awesome news from me today! Besides making progress in the basketball competition by advancing to the second round of nationals (yay us! :D), we also beat long-time rivals and basketball powerhouse Farrles Institute as well today! Great day for all of us! :D

The match we played one week ago was the one that ensured our place in the next round of nationals! The scoreline was pretty convincing, and although the other team weren't the toughest of opponents, I must say our team displayed extreme fortitude and perseverance throughout the whole match! :) That's the reason we're still one of the best in Singapore after all these years :)

Today's match was far from easy! It was a really really tight scoreline, but we managed to pull through to emerge victorious! All my teammates put in extraordinary amounts of effort to secure that win, and it couldn't have been possible without each and every one's effort.

Way to go, Xing Zheng! :D

Physics, Presentations, and PRESSURE.

Today was horrible T.T got owned during Q&A of my report presentation coz I said the wrong thing. Then get targeted lor. -.- sigh. and to make my day worse, I messed up my Physics practical >< misinterpreted the question and probably failed the test already!! :(( sians.

Pressure's mounting as the crucial match for qualifying for the 2nd round of nationals looms ever close. (Incidentally that was the topic for the practical test, but I digress :P) My blog posts are probably gonna be shorter and less frequent than usual, but I guess it can't be helped. :( Schoolwork + Basketball = STRESS TTM.

Wow. How anyone can give so much homework is unknown to me. It BOGGLES my mind. -.- It's ridiculous. I have so many projects and practice papers and assignments to complete I'm pretty sure I've forgotten some of them. ><

But complaints aside, the school does have a valid reason for drilling us so crazily. :/ 'O' levels are coming up pretty soon, and we'll definitely need all the practice we can get. :( Like basketball! :O

Speaking of which, trainings have become increasingly intense...I actually felt exhausted after yesterday's training (first time in a long time. lol :P) I know it's necessary pain, but I'm starting to feel the real pressure. How am I supposed to juggle my studies and basketball at the same time? :(

Well, gtg! My dear friend Mr. Math Assignment's begging for my attention. Guess I'll have to submit to his demands. T.T

Birthday! :D

IT'S MY BIRTHDAY TODAY! haha :P just got back from celebration with my DG :) It was awesome! but this post'll have to be a short one, have training tomorrow so gotta wake up early...

Well, we went to Vivocity! Didn't eat at any particular restaurant but that's okay! Coz we da bao-ed food and went to the rooftop to enjoy. :) My DG got a cake for me! (although I kinda expected that :P) It's the thought that counts! :D It would have been a pretty normal birthday celebration except for the fact that it started raining :O so we had to quickly pack up our stuff and rush down. Lol.

I'm once again reminded of the love and fellowship amongst my DG-mates and YF in general. Fellowship ftw! haha.

June Holidays

Wow. I've not been here on this blog for such a long time D: haha it's coz I've been busy, with my mid-years. Results weren't that bad, but they weren't too ideal either... :/ Never mind. Enough about that.

So, it's the June holidays now! exactly halfway done :X Time really flies when you're having fun! And I've been having fun with...training! :P Yeah. Training's been getting more hardcore ever since the holidays started, partly because the preliminary round for nationals are coming up soon! Around July I think. And since this year's the last year that my batch'll be here in Xing Zheng, we wanna make a huge impression on the national stage! (not to mention an illustrious end to our 4 years in Basketball too :P)

I guess as the captain, I'll have loads more pressure to perform at my peak. It's inevitable, but I've been entrusted with this role, and I'll surely do my utmost to get Xing Zheng the gold! But not just for my school and myself (hehe...), but also for God! He's helped me tremendously throughout this difficult time of coping with exams and training, and I really wanna thank Him for his ever-present providence and comfort. ;D

My World. My Life. My Blog.

So I've started my first blog and just trying out some of the features, and it seems really cool! Haha I know blogging seems old-fashioned, which I really don't understand, coz it's such a great avenue to express my true feelings! :)

I don't have to hide behind any facade or anything, not like in real life :O hehe...but seriously! Title says it all. My blog is where I can be me, and not be judged for who I appear to be. Freedom! (of sorts) :P Isn't it great to know that you can be true to yourself without trying to hide anything, and yet not be laughed at?
